The Feinstein International Famine Center at Tufts University was established in 1996 to improve humanitarian, relief and refugee efforts in times of famine, war and complex emergencies. The Center works to prevent and mitigate famine, resolve local conflicts and develop responses that contribute to durable survival strategies for people coping with crisis. An excellent source for reports on famine in Darfur, Bosnia-Herzegovina and elsewhere.
