Alexandra Buskie graduated in 2010 from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, in Politics and French, where she undertook a dissertation focusing on humanitarian intervention within the just war tradition. She has been interning with the Will to Intervene Project for two years while also working as the assistant to MIGS' Director, Dr Frank Chalk. She plans to return to the United Kingdom to complete a Masters in International Relations in 2012.

John Evers holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto with a Specialization in International Relations.  He has also studied at Sciences Po in France, where he examined the international transition from humanitarian intervention to the responsibility to protect.  John comes to MIGS having volunteered with the Canadian Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (CCR2P) at the University of Toronto.  He most recently interned with the U.S. Department of State.

David Mercadante is currently working towards his Master of the Arts degree in History at Concordia. Before coming to Concordia, he got his BA in History and Psychology at McGill University, where he specialized in the study of the interaction between the Cold War and the Civil Rights movement in the United States. He grew up in Montreal.

Randy Pinsky recently graduated with distinction in Political Science at Concordia University, with a focus on human rights, international development and conflict resolution. A social activist in academics and beyond, she completed an internship at the Quebec chapter of Médecins Sans Frontières where she coordinated a perception study on humanitarian work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A recipient of the Lieutenant-Governor's Youth Medal, Randy strongly believes talk must be accompanied by tangible action in order to implement sustainable change. She is doing just that now that she has started her Masters in Public Policy and Public Administration at Concordia.

Iffat Rahman has a BA in International Development Studies and minor in Social Studies of Medicine from McGill University.  She did an internship with the UNHCR in Malaysia where she addressed the medical needs (HIV, TB, tropical diseases, etc)  of Burmese, Somali, Afghan and Sudanese refugees.
